The journal is published since 1979 (before 1993, the previous title of the journal was “Inzhenernaya geologiya” (“Engineering geology”).
The journal publishes theoretic and methodical papers containing the data of original research carried by the author(s) with the reference to the present-day publications and previously not published anywhere.

The authors are advised to submit their papers prepared in accordance with the “Rules for authors”.

“Geoekologiya” journal is indexed by Russian Science Citation Index and it is included in the List of Reviewed scientific journals, where the scientific results of candidate and doctoral dissertations should be published.
